HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!!

You have NO idea how good it feels to ring in a new year. I don't remember much about New Years '09. I do know I was awake for it but other than that......2009 was NOT good to my family. So much drama, heartbreak heartache, so much sickness.

What a Month

Between all of my surgeries, my dad's open heart surgery in August, my mom and her scare in early December and now the drama with the extended family...I'm hoping ALL of 2010 will be rosie. SO much sadness.
I have promised myself there will be no more surgeries...
my dad will be fine...
my mom will get better (or as better as her body will allow), my children will be happy, my husband will be well and happy and my extended family will find their way back to each other and be happy for the first time in years.
I say all of this with a VERY good buzz. But seriously...If I didn't have you guys to vent to and my true and dear friends to cry to I would be lost. There is only so much you can say to family when they themselves are also living the hell we bitch about. We had a "moment" on Christmas day. I missed Christmas of '08 so '09 was rather special. I told everyone 2009 was not my year to die. 2009 tested my physical body, my spiritual body and my overall sanity. 2009 was NOT my year to die and 2010 wont be either. I want everyone to know how special you ALL are to me. I want you ALL to know how much I love and value your friendship. Without you...I would have been lost in 2009.
Let's welcome 2010 with open arms and make it the best year we can.
