share The Love.....Support The Troops

 

It's been a while.  This is extremely important to me and I wanted to share it with all of you.  Being the daughter of a retired Air Force soldier I was touched when my friend San of Thistle Delight Soapworks told me what she is doing.  She  not only served her country but is also the wife of a retired Sailor and the mother of an active duty Sailor.  When her son enlisted into the Navy she felt it her duty and honor to support him and the troops any way she could.  San joined Navy for Moms.

Each month they choose a group from a branch of the armed forces and send cards, letters, care packages and anything else they get from donations and send it all to their contact of the month.  These items are then shared with the troops.  Pretty awesome!  Now you are asking..what does this have to do with Anhoki or me?  Well duh.....  Did you really have to ask? :~)  Anhoki's Place has set a goal and would love to totally blow it out of the water.  We want to donate 500 bars of soap and 500 lip balms to San so she can send them to the troops.  John and I have created listings for this very purpose.  You buy the soap or lip balm and it goes directly to the troops.  Never fear...you will get something sent to you.  For every order received a little thank you will be sent to the buyer.  So it's a win win situation for everyone.  The troops are pampered with goodies.  My heart grows with pride and you get something from us for supporting those who fight for us to do what we do.
